- 5 / 5By Matthew EnglundPeople travel from all over the mountains to eat here. Its run by a wonderful local family who take Sundays and Mondays off work. Hours are limited and they intentionally close down for a small part of the year but when they are open, there’s no better place to enjoy Mexican food. The ambience is like a cozy, rustic cabin. They cannot accommodate many people but there is an outdoor patio as well as take-out. The daily menu has some very good Americana items such as cheeseburgers and fries but the Mexican choices are reliably very well prepared. They use organically grown salad from local farmers and their daily specials are a whole other level of excellent cuisine.March 29, 2017
